Meet Robert Tuzik

Founder and President of Temperance Mobile Cafe

Born and raised in Hanover, MA, Robert spent three decades working in his family's medical device business, which was established by his great-grandfather. Throughout his life, Robert has always had a passion for travel, exploring new cultures, and music.

In 2021, Robert decided to embrace sobriety, which brought about a newfound clarity and purpose in his life. This personal journey inspired him to create a new mission, leading to the establishment of Temperance Mobile Café in 2024.

Temperance Mobile Café is a reflection of Robert's desire to provide a supportive and alcohol-free environment where individuals can socialize and enjoy themselves without the presence of alcohol. Inspired by the kindness and encouragement he received during his journey, Robert was determined to create a space in the community where people could come together and enjoy each other's company in an alcohol-free setting.

At the heart of Temperance Mobile Café is pizza, chosen for its universal appeal and ability to bring people together. Robert has partnered with local nonprofits such as Community Work Services and the Let's Give It Up Foundation to provide employment opportunities to those facing barriers to work and to offer individuals a supportive and creative outlet to find their voice through the power of music and the arts.

Currently residing in Norwell, MA with his wife and their English Bulldog, Bunker, Robert enjoys various activities in his free time, including skiing, golfing, gardening, hiking, and boating on the North River.
