Meet Robert Tuzik

Founder and President of Temperance PIzza Food Truck

Born and raised in Hanover, MA, Robert spent three decades working in his family’s medical device business, founded by his great-grandfather. Throughout his life, he’s been passionate about travel, exploring new cultures, and music—experiences that have shaped his love for bringing people together over great food.

In 2021, Robert embraced sobriety, a journey that gave him newfound clarity and purpose. Inspired by the support he received, he launched Temperance Mobile Café in 2024—originally an alcohol-free social space but soon evolving into a Neapolitan pizza truck focused on fresh ingredients and shared experiences.

At its core, Temperance is about more than pizza—it’s about connection. Robert believes that good food has the power to bring people together, and he’s dedicated to creating a welcoming space where family, friends, and strangers alike can enjoy incredible pizza and great company.

Committed to giving back, Robert partners with local nonprofits like Community Work Services and the Let’s Give It Up Foundation to provide employment opportunities and support creative expression through music and the arts.

He currently lives in Norwell, MA, with his wife and their English Bulldog, Bunker. When he’s not slinging pizzas, you can find him skiing, golfing, gardening, hiking, or boating on the North River.
